About the role

Responsibilities

  • Lead and supervise Career Services Advisors and support staff
  • Monitor departmental KPIs including placement rates and employer outreach
  • Develop and execute strategies to expand employer engagement and industry partnerships
  • Oversee career development programming, workshops, and training initiatives
  • Ensure accurate collection and reporting of placement-related data for accreditation compliance
  • Coordinate employer recruitment activities such as career fairs and networking events
  • Analyze placement trends and develop action plans to improve employment outcomes

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution
  • Minimum of five years of experience in career services, workforce development, or recruiting
  • Minimum of two years of supervisory or team leadership experience
  • Demonstrated ability to build relationships with employers and external stakeholders
  • Proficiency with student information systems, CRM platforms, and Microsoft Office or Google Workspace

Preferred Qualifications

  • Master's degree
  • Experience in higher education or vocational education environments
  • Experience managing placement reporting and accreditation requirements
  • Familiarity with labor market data and workforce trends
