Career Development Manager

Responsibilities

• Create and implement policies, procedures, and career-oriented workshops for the Ogden Honors College Career Development Office
• Advise students on career paths, resume writing, interview preparation, and postgraduate fellowships
• Manage community service programs including the Ogden Leaders program, Project 225, and Service Saturdays
• Develop partnerships with local and state government officials and community partners to create service opportunities
• Provide 1:1 mentoring to Academic Counselors and supervise a Career Services Coordinator
• Collaborate with the Manager of Fellowship Advising and the Director of Development to identify internship and fellowship opportunities
• Maintain data on internships and career outcomes to prepare reports for campus leadership

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree
• 3 years of professional experience
• Proven experience in the successful development and implementation of career services within a higher education institution

Preferred Qualifications

• Master of Social Work (MSW)
• 5 years of professional experience
