About the role
Responsibilities
- Administer and monitor Federal Work-Study (FWS) processes within the Banner ERP system, including job coding, labor distribution, and EPAF processing.
- Serve as a subject matter expert on FWS policies, providing technical guidance to supervisors and students regarding eligibility and compliance.
- Analyze Banner data and FWS allocation reports to forecast trends, prevent over-awards, and generate performance dashboards.
- Maintain real-time tracking of student earnings in compliance with federal regulations.
- Coordinate and implement career development programming, including workshops on resumes, cover letters, and interview preparation.
- Develop digital tracking systems for job placement, student credentials, and First Destination Survey data.
- Conduct career-related seminars and training sessions for students, faculty, and staff.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Higher Education, Student Affairs, Human Resources, Business, Data Analytics, Counseling, or a related field.
- At least 4 years of progressively responsible experience in career services, student employment, or workforce development.
- Demonstrated experience using Banner ERP and Handshake for employer engagement and data analytics.
- Strong understanding of FERPA, EEO, and federal regulations regarding student employment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook) with strong data collection and analysis skills.
- Proven ability to design and lead professional development workshops and work effectively with diverse populations.
Preferred Qualifications
- Master’s degree in Higher Education Administration, Counseling, Human Resources, or Data Analytics.
- 5+ years of experience specifically in career services or student employment programs with supervisory responsibility.
- Prior experience with on-campus and off-campus employment administration or compliance oversight.
- Proven ability to build partnerships across departments such as Financial Aid, Human Resources, and Academic Affairs.
