About the role
Responsibilities
- Provide one-on-one career coaching to students at all phases of career development, including job/internship search strategies and interview preparation.
- Facilitate interactive workshops and small group dialogues for diverse student audiences using best practices in engagement and technology.
- Manage and execute strategic career programming, including outreach plans and the revitalization of existing offerings.
- Oversee the VMock (Resume AI) student engagement strategy and manage account requests and analytics.
- Supervise student staff and lead professional programming teams to ensure high-quality service delivery.
- Maintain accurate client records and utilize data to inform strategic decision-making and reporting.
Requirements
- Master's degree in Student Affairs, Higher Education, Counseling, Social Work, Clinical Psychology, or a related field (or an equivalent combination of education and experience).
- Minimum of 1 year of experience coaching, counseling, or advising college students in one-on-one or small group settings.
- Experience presenting, facilitating, or teaching to both small and large groups.
- Proficiency with current technology, social media, and information management tools for service delivery.
- Broad understanding of the world of work, industry trends, and economic shifts.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working in a fast-paced office environment.
- Experience with the administration and interpretation of career assessment tools such as MBTI, CliftonStrengths, or SII.
