About the Company

General Assembly has transformed tens of thousands of careers through pioneering, experiential education in today’s most in-demand skills. In partnership with Tamkeen, GA is building a national academy in Bahrain to train Bahraini Nationals in new-economy skills including Data Science, Software Engineering, and UX Design.

Responsibilities

• Manage a robust pipeline of students and graduates through one-on-ones and employer engagement
• Coach and counsel students to ensure a smooth transition from the classroom to the job market
• Deliver career development curriculum and lead classroom-based programming
• Drive partnership relationships with top companies to increase graduate visibility with hiring managers
• Create new student-facing resources and collaborate with curriculum teams
• Track student progress and employment status using internal tracking tools
• Coordinate and assist in the preparation and execution of GA events

Requirements

• Must be a Bahraini National
• Bilingual in Arabic and English (spoken and written)
• At least 2 years of career coaching, partnerships, or community management experience
• Experience in career services or conducting coaching sessions
• Strong organizational and communication skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment
• Proficiency in managing Google Classroom and data analysis/reporting skills preferred

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in the tech industry or understanding of tech-sector career paths
• Proven track record in managing large caseloads of students or clients
