About the role

Responsibilities

  • Manage a caseload of participants providing counseling, guidance, and mentoring
  • Assess participant competencies, work history, and skills
  • Identify barriers to employment and develop solutions
  • Conduct regular one-on-one meetings to support job search and retention
  • Facilitate job readiness workshops and career preparation sessions
  • Deliver instruction on resume development and interviewing
  • Coordinate with employer-facing staff to support participant placement
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date participant records and documentation
  • Collaborate with internal staff and community organizations

Requirements

  • Associate degree from an accredited college or equivalent work experience
  • Strong interpersonal, coaching, and customer service skills
  • Experience facilitating workshops in a classroom setting
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Ability to work with diverse cultural and economic backgrounds

Preferred Qualifications

  • One to three years of experience in workforce development or case management
  • Experience working with high-barrier populations
  • Familiarity with local communities and employers
  • Bilingual or multilingual skills, specifically Spanish
