About the role
Responsibilities
- Advise, monitor, and track customer participation in workforce programs
- Counsel customers with job search strategies, career advisement, and training needs
- Help customers identify and overcome barriers to employment
- Maintain accurate and complete records and ensure smooth case transitions
- Manage day-to-day relationships with customers to address concerns
- Critique resumes and maintain knowledge of various occupations for effective placement
- Deliver individualized services and protect participant confidentiality
- Document customer success stories internally and externally
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or higher in a related field
- 2+ years of experience in a career counseling role
- Strong computer, organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills
- Ability to work under pressure and meet multiple deadlines
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience with workforce development or human services
- Bilingual proficiency in Arabic
