Career Advisor

Responsibilities

• Build professional one-on-one relationships with clients to help eliminate barriers to employment
• Provide comprehensive case management, individualized assessments, and consistent follow-up
• Facilitate professional development workshops and manage programmatic offerings to ensure high-quality curriculum
• Maintain organized client databases and ensure detailed documentation of all contacts and activities
• Conduct new customer orientations and assist with intake services
• Collaborate with business services teams to identify job opportunities and necessary qualifications
• Assist in the preparation of project reports regarding participation and placement data
• Develop solutions for participant attendance and engagement challenges

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in education, social services, healthcare, or communications
• Two years of experience in career advisement, development, or workshop facilitation
• Proven experience in public speaking and content development
• Proficiency in MS Office and Google Docs
• Strong customer service experience
• Demonstrated ability to prioritize tasks and manage documentation in a fast-paced environment
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
