Through a caring, compassionate, philosophy of non-abandonment, the hospice provides a full spectrum of palliative services, including emotional, spiritual, and physical care.
Responsibilities
- Assist professional nursing staff by performing paraprofessional and technical nursing functions
- Meet the physiological, safety, spiritual and psychosocial needs of patients and their families
- Meet the environmental needs of the unit
Requirements
- Completion of a Nursing Assistant, HHA, Patient Care Associate, Patient Care Technician, or Medical Assistant Program certified by the N.Y.S. Department of Health
- High School Diploma or GED Equivalency
