Care Partner

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with personal care and activities of daily living
• Perform daily housekeeping and laundry duties
• Participate in shift change reports and 24 Hour Reports
• Assist residents to and from life enrichment programs
• Respond to resident pendant and wearable calls
• Maintain infection control practices and resident confidentiality
• Report accidents and incidents to supervisors
• Communicate changes in resident needs to the Director of Health & Wellness

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Ability to work varied schedules including weekends, evenings, and holidays
• Passion for working with senior citizens
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to make independent decisions and handle difficult situations
• Knowledge of customer service principles

Preferred Qualifications

• Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) or Home Health Aid certification
• Medication Assistance license/certificate
• CPR and First Aid certification
