About the role
Responsibilities
- Assist residents with personal care and activities of daily living
- Perform daily housekeeping and laundry duties
- Participate in shift change reports and 24 Hour Reports
- Assist residents to and from life enrichment programs
- Respond to resident pendant and wearable calls promptly
- Maintain infection control practices and resident confidentiality
- Report accidents and incidents to supervisors immediately
- Communicate changes in resident needs to the Director of Health & Wellness
Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- CNA or Home Health Aid certification preferred
- Medication Assistance license preferred
- CPR and First Aid certification preferred
- Ability to work varied schedules including weekends, evenings, and holidays
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Passion for working with senior citizens
- Ability to follow detailed written or verbal instructions
