Responsibilities

  • Act as the first line of communication for new and prospective patients, nurturing leads via CRM
  • Verify insurance benefits and help patients navigate coverage and payment plans
  • Maintain proactive communication with obstetrics patients at key milestones throughout their care journey
  • Support patients in developing care plans and connecting to community resources
  • Provide additional outreach for patients with medical risks or social determinants of health (SDoH)
  • Collect patient feedback to contribute to the continuous improvement of prenatal and postpartum care programs

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree
  • 2+ years of experience in a customer-facing role, ideally in healthcare
  • Knowledge of health insurance policies (copays, coinsurance, referrals, verifications)
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills
  • Strong computer skills; familiarity with EMRs is preferred
