About the role
Responsibilities
- Manage client schedules and document pet interactions
- Provide detailed information about veterinary services, grooming, daycare, boarding, and retail offerings
- Welcome pets and their parents, ensuring a smooth check-in process
- Handle calls, answer client inquiries, and resolve concerns professionally
- Process financial transactions accurately
- Maintain cleanliness standards and contribute to the upkeep of the environment
- Assist in ensuring animals receive proper care, including food, water, and enrichment activities
Requirements
- Warm and friendly demeanor with a client-centric mindset
- Previous customer service experience
- Knowledge of basic animal behavior and a passion for pets
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to multitask and remain calm under pressure
- Proficiency in technology, including phones, computers, and mobile devices
- Strength and stamina to interact with active pets of all sizes
- Fear Free and HABRI certification (or desire to become certified)
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous veterinary experience
