Care Associate

Responsibilities

• Take and record vital signs, height, weight, and fluid intake/output
• Assist residents with activities of daily living, including bathing, grooming, dressing, and medication reminders
• Recognize and report abnormal changes in body functioning to a supervisor
• Transfer, position, and turn residents to ensure comfort and safety
• Provide skin care and nursing rehabilitation/restorative services
• Offer emotional and social support to residents while respecting their dignity and independence
• Protect resident rights, confidentiality, and personal belongings

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED
• 1+ years of clinical or nursing experience
• Valid CNA licensure (depending on state requirements)
• Basic computer skills
• Proficiency in English for communication with supervisors, staff, and residents

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working in an assisted living or senior care environment
• Demonstrated ability to work effectively as part of a healthcare team
