About the role
Responsibilities
- Visit village and community customers daily to follow personal care plans
- Provide personal care including washing, bathing, dressing, and continence care
- Assist with mealtimes, preparing drinks, and administering medication
- Support day-to-day tasks such as laundry, vacuuming, ironing, and cooking
- Encourage customer independence through fitness support and health awareness programmes
- Support customers with medical appointments and prescription collection
- Maintain accurate electronic daily logs and follow medication instructions
- Liaise with family members and ensure compliance with safeguarding policies
Requirements
- Good level of written and oral English
- Ability to use a mobile app for scheduling and communication
- Ability to prioritize and manage time effectively
- High standard of personal presentation and hygiene
- Driving licence and access to a vehicle preferred
- Ability to work adaptably to meet different customer requirements
