Cardiology Technician L2

Responsibilities

• Coordinate specific cardiac procedures across multiple CHHD sites, including Harvey, Calumet City, Flossmoor, and Tinley Park
• Perform stress tests with and without thallium, stress echo, and regular stress tests
• Manage Holter application and scanning, as well as event monitor application
• Execute EKG tracings and perform related clerical duties
• Provide patient services according to unit-specific competencies and age-appropriate standards of care
• Adhere to all hospital policies, procedures, and corporate compliance requirements

Requirements

• Certificate in cardiology technology from an accredited school
• Active BLS certification from the American Heart Association (AHA)
• Two years of relevant experience
• Proficiency in stress testing and Holter scanning
• Strong EKG skills with the ability to identify EKG abnormalities
