About the role
Responsibilities
- Interact with patients and families to discuss and obtain consent for research participation
- Collect and enter patient data into online forms following established protocols
- Perform literature searches and maintain an Endnote reference library
- Prepare recruitment packages and maintain logs for ethics approvals and specimen collection
- Manage study records through scanning, printing, and filing
- Perform administrative and clerical duties to support research initiatives
Requirements
- High school graduation
- Minimum of one year of related experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience
- Commitment to equity, diversity, and inclusion
- Ability to handle sensitive information with high attention to detail
Preferred Qualifications
- Relevant undergraduate degree with a strong science background
- Experience working in a research environment or understanding of research ethics
- Familiarity with medical terminology
- Proficiency with search engines such as PubMed, Medline, or Ovid
- Strong computer literacy, including MS Office and EndNote
- Excellent organizational, communication, and time management skills
