Responsibilities

• Interpret and action 4-lead and 12-lead ECGs and echocardiograms
• Act as the primary point of contact for ECG and echocardiogram queries from administrative and clinical staff
• Identify and escalate abnormal, urgent, or complex findings to the UK Cardiology Lead
• Prepare and coordinate cardiology multidisciplinary team (MDT) meetings
• Support the development of interpretation protocols and escalation frameworks
• Contribute to education, training, and onboarding of new doctors
• Assist in monitoring cardiac-related KPIs and clinical quality standards

Requirements

• Medical degree with full GMC registration and a licence to practise in the UK
• On the GMC GP Specialist Register
• Demonstrable experience in cardiology, including ECG and echocardiogram interpretation
• Strong understanding of UK clinical governance, risk management, and CQC standards
• Excellent clinical decision-making and triage skills
• Strong communication and organizational skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Interest or experience in cardiology
• Previous experience in clinical leadership, quality improvement, or team supervision
• Familiarity with digital health or health-tech environments
