Cardiology Disability Peer Physician Reviewer

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and review disability claims as an independent contract reviewer
• Provide advisory-only clinical opinions regarding disability claims
• Complete clinical decision-making within required turnaround times (typically 2-5 business days)
• Utilize a user-friendly work portal to manage case flows and medical records

Requirements

• Board Certified in Cardiology
• Current, unrestricted Medical License
• 5+ years of clinical practice experience or actively practicing
• Completion of all required orientation and training
• Maintenance of proper credentialing, state licenses, and necessary certifications
