Cardiographer

Responsibilities

• Perform echocardiograms and electrocardiograms (ECGs) to capture and analyse heart activity
• Assist in cardiac catheterisations and other interventional procedures
• Monitor patients during stress tests
• Prepare and maintain diagnostic equipment
• Analyse test results and prepare reports for cardiologists

Requirements

• Associate or bachelor's degree in cardiovascular technology or a related field
• Certification from recognised professional bodies such as CCI or ARDMS
• Experience in a clinical setting, especially in cardiology
• Strong understanding of cardiovascular anatomy and physiology
• Proficiency in operating and troubleshooting diagnostic equipment
• Excellent communication and patient-care skills
