Cardiac Surgeon

Responsibilities

• Perform complex cardiac surgeries including coronary artery bypass grafting and valve repairs
• Conduct patient evaluations and diagnostic tests to determine surgical needs
• Collaborate with cardiologists, anesthesiologists, and nursing staff on treatment plans
• Manage preoperative and postoperative patient care to ensure favorable recovery
• Educate patients and families regarding surgical procedures, risks, and recovery care
• Maintain meticulous medical records in compliance with healthcare standards
• Participate in clinical research and stay updated on surgical advancements

Requirements

• MD or DO degree
• Completion of General Surgery residency and Cardiac Surgery fellowship
• Board certification in Cardiac Surgery
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in cardiac surgical procedures
• Valid medical license
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to make critical decisions under pressure
