Cardiac Patch Technician

Responsibilities

• Review patient ECG data and algorithm findings for clinical accuracy and completeness using Quality Analysis tools
• Communicate ECG abnormalities to physicians according to established notification protocols
• Perform quality assurance on all records before final reports are delivered to physicians
• Maintain compliance with job-specific proficiency requirements and CCT certification
• Meet or exceed defined productivity and quality metrics
• Adhere to HIPAA guidelines and Good Clinical Practices

Requirements

• High School Diploma required
• 2+ years of experience as a cardiac telemetry/monitor technician, Holter scanner, or similar ECG interpretation role
• Certified Cardiographic Technician (CCT) certification, or the ability to obtain it within 120 days of hire (RN or Paramedic licenses may qualify)
• Demonstrated capability in rhythm analysis and interpretation
• Intermediate level PC proficiency
• Strong knowledge of cardiology-specific medical terminology
• Excellent attention to detail and critical thinking skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Associate degree or two years of college coursework
• Extensive experience in specialized ECG interpretation roles
