Cardiac Assistant

Responsibilities

• Support the delivery of patient care under the supervision of cardiac sonographers and physicians
• Prepare patients for and assist with a range of non-invasive cardiovascular diagnostic procedures
• Assist with echocardiography, stress testing, Holter monitoring, and tilt table testing
• Perform ankle-brachial index (ABI) assessments
• Ensure proper patient preparation and positioning techniques are utilized during procedures

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in a healthcare-related field
• Minimum of 2 years of hands-on experience in cardiac or diagnostic support roles
• Solid understanding of cardiac procedures and patient positioning
• Strong patient-centered communication and interpersonal skills
• Proficiency in English is required
