Cardiac Anesthesiologist

Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive preoperative evaluations and develop individualized anesthetic plans for cardiac patients
• Administer anesthesia during complex and high-risk cardiac surgeries and interventions
• Monitor hemodynamic status and vital signs using advanced techniques such as transesophageal echocardiography and invasive monitoring
• Collaborate with cardiac surgeons, perfusionists, and multidisciplinary healthcare professionals to optimize patient outcomes
• Manage intraoperative challenges and promptly address anesthesia-related complications
• Provide post-anesthesia care, including effective pain management and monitoring during recovery
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of advancements in cardiac anesthesiology

Requirements

• Medical degree (MD or DO) from an accredited institution
• Completion of an accredited residency in Anesthesiology
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in cardiac anesthesia
• Valid medical license to practice anesthesia
• Proficiency with invasive monitoring and cardiac anesthesia techniques
• Exceptional communication and teamwork skills
• Ability to perform under pressure in complex clinical scenarios

Preferred Qualifications

• Fellowship training in Cardiac Anesthesia
