Cardiac Anesthesiologist

Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive preoperative evaluations and risk assessments of cardiac patients
• Formulate and execute individualized anesthesia plans tailored to cardiac surgical procedures
• Administer anesthesia and closely monitor hemodynamic and respiratory status during surgeries
• Utilize advanced monitoring equipment such as transesophageal echocardiography and arterial lines
• Collaborate with cardiac surgeons, perfusionists, and multidisciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomes
• Manage intraoperative complications and provide timely interventions
• Oversee postoperative anesthesia care, including pain management and recovery monitoring

Requirements

• Medical degree (MD or DO) from an accredited institution
• Completion of Anesthesiology residency training
• At least 3 years of experience in cardiac anesthesia practice
• Proficiency in advanced monitoring and anesthesia techniques specific to cardiac surgery
• Valid and unrestricted medical license

Preferred Qualifications

• Fellowship training in Cardiac Anesthesia
