Card Services Collection Agent

Responsibilities

• Contact parties manually or via automatic dialing systems to describe debt and solicit payment arrangements
• Establish rapport to overcome objections and negotiate debt payments
• Detail all discussions, actions, and issues in the collections system or database
• Ensure successful and timely completion of assigned cases
• Comply with all applicable regulations, established policies, and procedures

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Minimum 6 months of collections or call center experience
• Ability to use a computer and audio equipment

Preferred Qualifications

• Knowledge of collections regulations, including the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act
