Card Processing Specialist

Responsibilities

• Support the end-to-end card lifecycle, including production, personalization, distribution, maintenance, and issue resolution.
• Perform reconciliations across multiple general ledgers and card processing accounts to research outages and transaction breaks.
• Partner with branch staff, operations teams, and external vendors to coordinate processing activity and resolve operational issues.
• Identify and address operational risks to ensure adherence to procedures, controls, and regulatory requirements.
• Contribute to continuous improvement by identifying root causes, standardizing procedures, and improving reporting and service metrics.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in card operations, back-office processing, or reconciliation within a regulated financial services environment.
• Strong knowledge of card systems, transaction processing, settlement, and exception management.
• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment with high attention to detail.
• Strong risk and controls mindset with experience supporting audits and ensuring compliance with internal policies and card network requirements.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills for effective collaboration with vendors and cross-functional partners.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with CTC or TSYS (FIS) card processing systems.
• Experience supporting process improvement efforts such as workflow redesign, automation, or KPI reporting.
