Card Fraud Strategy - Senior Associate

Responsibilities

• Manage and enhance fraud strategies to optimize the tradeoff between fraud mitigation, financial performance, customer experience, and operational efficiency
• Monitor fraud trends and customer friction points to identify opportunities for strategy improvement
• Leverage internal and external data sources and advanced analytic tools to drive accurate fraud detection
• Partner with product, technology, and operations teams to develop, design, and test new detection and treatment capabilities
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure control, compliance, and the adoption of industry best practices
• Communicate strategic insights and findings effectively to senior leaders and key stakeholders

Requirements

• MS degree with 2+ years of experience in risk management or data analytics, or a BS degree with 4+ years of experience
• Proficiency in SAS, SQL, and Python
• Strong analytical thought leadership with the ability to leverage AI and machine learning for innovative solutions
• Proven experience in project management and process management
• Excellent collaboration and communication skills for working with internal and external partners

Preferred Qualifications

• Relevant experience in fraud strategy or risk management
• Experience in product management
