Card Fraud Strategy – Associate

Responsibilities

• Design and validate fraud strategies and capabilities to mitigate risk while balancing financial performance and customer experience
• Manage and enhance fraud strategies to drive optimal tradeoffs between mitigation, operational efficiency, and customer friction
• Monitor fraud trends and customer friction points to identify opportunities for strategy improvement
• Leverage internal and external data sources and advanced analytic tools to drive accurate fraud detection
• Partner with Product, Technology, and Operations teams to develop, test, and implement new detection capabilities
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure control, compliance, and industry best practices

Requirements

• MS degree with 2+ years of experience in risk management or data analytics, or a BS degree with 4+ years of experience
• Proven experience in risk management or data analytics
• Strong analytical thought leadership with the ability to leverage AI and machine learning for innovative solutions
• Excellent project management and process management skills
• Strong communication skills with the ability to present strategically to senior leaders and stakeholders
• Ability to think strategically, develop roadmaps, and drive execution

Preferred Qualifications

• Relevant experience specifically in fraud detection and mitigation
• Product management experience
