About the role
Responsibilities
- Manage the Carbon Dioxide Removal (CDR) credit buyer de-risking process in collaboration with technical and commercial teams
- Execute CDR product marketing strategies to drive lead generation and sales enablement
- Develop compelling go-to-market strategies and new pursuits for CDR pathways based on market trends
- Translate complex CDR projects and credits into clear value propositions for corporate buyers
- Lead the scoping of CDR business opportunities and organizational sprints to assess risk and value
- Engage with the broader ecosystem to ensure competitive positioning of products in the global marketplace
- Partner with LCS Origination and Technology teams to build the business case for new CDR pursuits
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree (Master's or MBA preferred)
- Minimum of 10 years of related market development or client-facing experience
- At least 2 years of direct experience in carbon markets
- Strong understanding of the energy industry, decarbonization pathways, and net-zero standards
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to articulate technical concepts
- Ability to thrive in ambiguous environments and manage multiple time-sensitive deliverables
Preferred Qualifications
- Engineering or Science background
- Deep understanding of voluntary carbon market (VCM) methodologies and high-quality criteria
- Existing relationships with CDR buyers and the broader carbon ecosystem
