Car Painter/Prepper

Responsibilities

• Prepare surfaces through degreasing, sanding, masking, and priming
• Apply primer, base coat, and clear coat using correct techniques and equipment
• Mix paint according to color codes using mixing systems and document recipes
• Perform polishing and post-processing to achieve the correct finish
• Conduct preventive work such as repairing small damages and surface correction
• Collaborate with colleagues to plan work orders and delivery times
• Document completed work in the workshop system
• Follow safety routines and handle materials in an environmentally correct manner

Requirements

• Vocational training or documented experience as a car painter/prepper in the automotive industry
• Knowledge of modern painting methods, color systems, and environmental requirements
• Experience in paint mixing and spray gun usage
• Meticulous, quality-conscious, and solution-oriented
• Ability to work both in a team and independently
• Swedish language proficiency in speech and writing
• Driver's license (B) is a merit
