Car Inspector

Responsibilities

• Inspect vehicles listed by individual sellers for mechanical, electrical, and body condition
• Verify vehicle details such as VIN, mileage, and registration
• Identify and document any damages, repairs, or modifications
• Conduct road tests to assess performance, handling, and safety
• Take high-quality photographs for listing purposes
• Provide detailed inspection reports with clear recommendations
• Ensure all inspections are completed in a timely and professional manner
• Communicate effectively with sellers and internal teams regarding inspection results

Requirements

• Proven experience as a car inspector, automotive technician, or related role
• Strong knowledge of automotive systems, diagnostics, and repair standards
• Attention to detail and accuracy in documentation
• Ability to operate diagnostic tools and inspection equipment
• Valid driver’s license
• Good communication and customer service skills
• Certification in automotive inspection or mechanics
• Knowledge of local vehicle regulations
