Car Body Technician

Responsibilities

• Perform sheet metal repairs including disassembly, straightening, replacement, and modification of body parts
• Utilize shaping and welding techniques with appropriate tools for repairs and reassembly
• Collaborate with painters to prepare parts for painting and ensure proper fit
• Follow manufacturer instructions and repair methods while documenting work in the workshop system
• Ensure quality through inspection and measurement
• Maintain workshop order and follow environmental, health, and safety routines

Requirements

• Education or documented experience as a car body technician in the automotive industry
• Strong knowledge of sheet metal repair techniques, welding, and bodywork tools
• Experience reading and following repair instructions and drawings
• B-driver's license
• Good proficiency in Swedish (spoken and written)
• Meticulous, quality-conscious, and solution-oriented
