Capture Manager

Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate capture activities from RFQ receipt through internal approval and submission
• Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to develop strategic capture plans and competitive proposals
• Maintain continuity of customer relationships throughout all capture phases
• Lead cost modeling activities, including supplier cost analysis and make/buy assessments
• Drive capture teams to develop cost-effective solutions aligned with Price-to-Win strategies
• Guide the development of customer-focused solutions through detailed analysis of needs and competitive positioning
• Lead Capture Team Reviews with senior leadership during critical quotation and approval phases
• Drive rigorous Risk and Opportunity (R&O) analyses to address proposal risk profiles
• Ensure all customer contractual and Global Trade Compliance (GTC) requirements are addressed

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Business Management
• 5–10 years of experience across the full program/project lifecycle
• Demonstrated ability to shape and produce competitive bids for global target markets
• Proven leadership and collaboration skills with experience motivating cross-functional teams
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in defense, aerospace, optics, photonics, or advanced manufacturing environments
• Familiarity with capture management methodologies such as PWIN and competitive analysis
• Strong financial and commercial acumen, including pricing and margin analysis
• Experience supporting international customers or pursuits involving export regulations
• Professional certifications such as PMP
