Capture Director

Responsibilities

• Drive higher PWin on a select portfolio of strategic opportunities within the Department of War / Defense Sales team
• Act as the primary POC to drive opportunities from inception to award
• Identify potential programs for consideration as Strategic Capture Opportunities
• Develop win themes, win strategies, value propositions, and differentiators
• Support Proposal Managers and Solutions teams with requirements-driven outlines and reviews
• Perform SWOT analysis on competitor capabilities and conduct team gap analysis
• Establish acquisition and teaming selection criteria and justification
• Identify capture risks and develop mitigation strategies
• Conduct post-RFP reviews to document lessons learned

Requirements

• 15+ years of directly related experience in DoW/DoD
• Experience closing large deals in the Unrestricted Federal IT Technology and Services space
• Analytical skills in business development, capture management, and procurement strategy
• Established relationships with Department of Defense government customers and federal IT services contractors
• Extensive knowledge of US government procurement practices and acquisition
• Thorough knowledge of the Business Development/program Capture lifecycle and Shipley-type approaches
• Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field
