Capture Director

Responsibilities

• Identify a portfolio of potential Army programs as Strategic Capture Opportunities
• Develop final win themes, win strategies, value propositions, and differentiators
• Coordinate with company resources to support technical and management solutions
• Support Proposal Managers and Solutions teams with requirements-driven outlines and reviews
• Perform SWOT analysis on competitor capabilities and conduct team gap analysis
• Establish acquisition and teaming selection criteria and justification
• Develop activity schedules, key milestones, and risk mitigation strategies
• Conduct post-RFP reviews to document lessons learned

Requirements

• 15+ years of directly related experience in the US Army
• Experience closing large deals in Unrestricted Federal IT Technology and Services
• Strong analytical skills in business development and procurement strategy
• Proven ability to make formal presentations to senior decision makers
• Experience negotiating teaming agreements and selecting partners
• Established relationships with Army leadership and federal IT services contractors
• Extensive knowledge of US government procurement and acquisition practices
• Proficiency in the Business Development/program Capture lifecycle and Shipley-type approaches
• Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field
