Captain

Responsibilities

• Command and navigate the vessel safely adhering to all maritime regulations
• Lead and supervise the crew, ensuring training and compliance with safety protocols
• Oversee vessel maintenance, repairs, and operational readiness
• Ensure full compliance with USCG and environmental regulations
• Develop and implement emergency response plans and conduct regular drills
• Manage vessel documentation including logs, incident reports, and passenger counts
• Maintain high standards of customer service for passengers and clients

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Valid U.S.C.G. Master’s License for motor vessels of 500 gross tons or higher
• Valid TWIC (Transportation Worker Identification Credential)
• Valid Driver’s License
• Experience in vessel navigation and operational oversight
• Proven leadership and supervisory experience
• Ability to pass USCG-mandated alcohol and drug tests
