Captain

Responsibilities

• Command and navigate the vessel safely adhering to maritime regulations
• Lead and supervise crew members ensuring training and safety compliance
• Oversee vessel maintenance and repairs to ensure seaworthiness
• Ensure compliance with local, national, and international maritime and environmental laws
• Manage the transfer and pumping of sewage and water
• Develop and implement emergency response plans and conduct drills
• Maintain accurate Vessel Operations, Maintenance Logs, and Personnel Reports
• Maintain workplace cleanliness including pilot house and common areas

Requirements

• Valid U.S. Coast Guard Inland Masters License (100 ton) or equivalent
• Radar Observer Endorsement
• FCC Marine Radio License
• Customer service experience
• Strong leadership and decision-making abilities
• Proficient in navigation and safety management
