Capo Cantiere meccanico

Responsibilities

• Coordinate a team of traveling mechanical installers to execute site activities
• Oversee piping preparation, BOP installation, and mechanical/hydraulic assembly
• Manage site materials, team expenses, and installer hours validation
• Perform welding of components and conduct quality controls on welds and installations
• Plan and organize on-site installation activities to ensure compliance with timelines and quality standards
• Collaborate with the engineering technical office to resolve installation issues
• Complete site reporting and final installation checklists

Requirements

• Diploma in mechanical engineering or a related field (preferred)
• Proven experience in complex plant installations (metalwork, iron, piping)
• Experience coordinating small operational teams
• Ability to read technical drawings, mechanical schemes, and P&IDs
• Knowledge of TIG/Wire welding or possession of a welder's certificate (preferred)
• Valid Driver's License (Category B or B and C)
• High availability for travel and site assignments, primarily in Italy and Europe
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work effectively in a team

Preferred Qualifications

• Proficiency in the English language
• Experience operating forklifts and aerial platforms
