Capital Underwriting Specialist II

Responsibilities

• Apply established underwriting guidelines and policies to assess potential business risks during the application review process
• Process and review requested documentation to ensure accuracy and compliance with regulatory requirements and internal policies
• Manage account updates related to changes of ownership and legal entity transitions
• Interact with loan applicants and business owners via written communication to request additional information or clarify underwriting details
• Ensure strict compliance with regulatory requirements, including AML, KYC, and fair lending practices
• Partner with US-based and international business teams to ensure a unified approach to Capital Operations

Requirements

• 3-5 years of relevant commercial credit or loan processing experience
• Strong analytical mindset and creative problem-solving skills
• Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills to manage multiple applications and deadlines
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, with experience professionally corresponding with customers via email
• Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment
• Ability to adapt to changing policies and procedures while maintaining high work quality

Preferred Qualifications

• Familiarity with Salesforce
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
