Capital Portfolio Manager

Responsibilities

• Establish and lead a centralised Retail Capital Portfolio Management function including frameworks and governance
• Develop and maintain a strategically aligned capital portfolio to support retail strategy and long-term growth
• Drive investment governance through prioritisation, business cases, and stage-gate approvals
• Oversee delivery of capital programs including new sites, refurbishments, and infrastructure
• Leverage business analytics and retail performance data to optimise CAPEX allocation
• Provide portfolio visibility through consolidated reporting on pipeline, risks, and progress
• Partner across Retail, Property, Operations, Finance, and Procurement to align priorities
• Support benefits realisation and continuous improvement of portfolio processes

Requirements

• Experience in Capital Portfolio Management, project, or program management
• Experience implementing governance or delivery frameworks
• Strong organisational and coordination capability
• Ability to manage multiple projects and stakeholders
• Strong communication and influencing skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in retail, fuel, convenience, or multi-site environments
• Experience in business analytics or data insights for retail operations
• Exposure to capital delivery or construction-related projects
• Experience in continuous improvement and change management
• Experience working with Finance and reporting processes
• Relevant project management qualification
