Capital Markets Auditor

Responsibilities

• Contribute to integrated audit teams in the planning, execution, and reporting of audits within Global Markets, Corporate and Investment Banking, and Capital Markets Operations
• Assess the effectiveness of internal controls, risk management practices, and governance processes
• Develop, draft, and review recommendations relating to audit programs and sampling techniques
• Uncover patterns, insights, trends, and anomalies through data set analysis and visualization tools
• Assist with regulatory requests and provide support on key projects and audits
• Build constructive relationships with Internal Audit peers and business partners

Requirements

• Currently pursuing a bachelor's or master's degree in Finance, Business Administration, Economics, CFA, or a related field
• Must be returning to school after the work term (or require the term as a mandatory graduation component)
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills with high attention to detail
• Excellent professional written and verbal communication skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous experience working within a financial institution
• Experience in Capital Markets businesses or supporting functions
• Knowledge of technology and data analytics
