Capital and Liquidity Policy, Vice President

Responsibilities

• Interpret and provide guidance on US regulatory capital and liquidity rules for strategic business initiatives and transactions
• Deliver high-quality regulatory capital and liquidity analyses and reviews
• Provide leadership and subject matter expertise on Banking Book Equity RWA requirements
• Identify relevant regulatory guidance and policy interpretations/expectations independently
• Perform comprehensive analyses of complex trade structures, addressing strengths and weaknesses of potential conclusions
• Propose conclusions that consider regulations, risk, operational feasibility, and market practice
• Provide guidance to stakeholders to ensure compliance with capital and liquidity rules

Requirements

• 5+ years of relevant work experience in banking and finance, ideally with a leading bank or a Big Four accounting firm
• Strong knowledge of US capital rules
• Expertise in financial products and an understanding of complex financing structures
• Ability to perform comprehensive and balanced analyses of complex trade structures
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to explain complex topics clearly to various audiences

Preferred Qualifications

• Knowledge of GAAP accounting concepts related to equity investments
• Experience interacting with bank regulatory agencies
