Capital and Liquidity Policy, Vice President

Responsibilities

• Provide guidance and interpretation on US regulatory capital and liquidity rules for strategic business initiatives and transactions.
• Deliver high-quality regulatory capital and liquidity analyses and reviews.
• Identify relevant regulatory guidance and policy interpretations to support the Treasury/Chief Investment Office.
• Perform comprehensive analyses of complex trade structures, addressing potential strengths and weaknesses of conclusions.
• Propose conclusions that consider regulations, risk, operational feasibility, market practice, and materiality.
• Provide subject matter expertise on Banking Book Equity RWA requirements.
• Partner with stakeholders across Risk, Finance, and Technology to ensure compliance with capital and liquidity rules.

Requirements

• 5+ years of relevant work experience in banking or finance, ideally with a leading bank or a Big Four accounting firm.
• Strong knowledge of US capital rules and financial products.
• Deep understanding of complex financing structures.
• Ability to perform comprehensive and balanced analyses of complex trade structures.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to explain complex topics clearly to diverse audiences.

Preferred Qualifications

• Knowledge of GAAP accounting concepts related to equity investments.
• Experience interacting with bank regulatory agencies.
