CAPEX Manager

Responsibilities

• Lead the development and execution of a multimillion annual capital investment portfolio, including new builds, equipment upgrades, and infrastructure improvements.
• Manage end-to-end delivery of capital projects from concept through to completion, ensuring all projects meet safety, quality, cost, and timeline KPIs.
• Act as Site Duty Holder for construction activities, ensuring full compliance with safety and regulatory requirements.
• Lead site capital governance forums, including monthly reviews and project approval boards.
• Select, negotiate, and manage contracts with suppliers and construction partners.
• Monitor capital expenditure and financial performance to ensure delivery within approved budgets.
• Build strong relationships with senior stakeholders across engineering, operations, and finance.
• Coach and mentor project engineers and managers to enhance performance and delivery standards.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Construction Management.
• Significant experience managing capital projects, including leadership responsibility.
• Proven track record of delivering complex, high-value projects.
• Strong financial and budget management capability.
• In-depth knowledge of engineering, construction, and contract management.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Experience with project management systems.
