CAPEX Manager

Responsibilities

• Lead the development and execution of a multimillion annual capital investment portfolio, including new builds, equipment upgrades, and infrastructure improvements.
• Ensure alignment with site strategy, long-range plans, and annual business objectives.
• Manage end-to-end project delivery from concept to completion, ensuring all projects meet safety, quality, cost, and timeline KPIs.
• Act as Site Duty Holder for construction activities, ensuring full compliance with safety and regulatory requirements.
• Oversee capital governance forums, project approval boards, and monthly reviews.
• Manage contractors and vendors, including contract negotiation and oversight of the Permit to Work (PTW) system.
• Partner with Finance to manage budgets, capital controls, and the annual asset verification process.
• Coach and mentor project engineers to strengthen site-wide project delivery capability.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Construction Management.
• Significant experience managing capital projects with leadership responsibility.
• Proven track record of delivering complex, high-value projects.
• Strong financial and budget management capability.
• In-depth knowledge of engineering, construction, and contract management.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Proficiency with project management systems.
