Capacity Planning Engineer

Responsibilities

• Perform regular analysis on factory bottlenecks for both long-term and short-term planning
• Identify and resolve production constraints through capacity modeling and investment strategy
• Drive investment strategies with Line Planning to ensure optimal allocation and maximize ROI
• Coordinate with manufacturing and engineering groups to implement output improvements
• Conduct bottleneck investigations using production plans, tool performance metrics, and capacity projects
• Perform equipment efficiency analysis and implement actions to optimize tool performance
• Manage capacity improvement projects to resolve shortages and provide additional capacity on constraining processes

Requirements

• B.S. in Industrial, Electrical, or Mechanical Engineering (or related Applied Mathematics major)
• 9+ years of experience in Capacity Planning, Manufacturing Engineering, Data Analytics, or Production Strategy
• Proficiency in Factory Physics methodologies and supply chain management
• Strong analytical skills with expertise in data modeling and forecasting techniques

Preferred Qualifications

• Knowledge of Python, SQL, or other scripting languages for data analytics and automation
