Cannabis Sales Consultant/Inventory

Responsibilities

• Assist the General Manager in administrative, clinical, and operational functions within a fast-paced dispensary environment.
• Educate patients and caregivers on medical marijuana products under the direct supervision of a pharmacist.
• Manage patient documentation, including filing state-required paperwork and auditing member files for accuracy.
• Provide exceptional patient service, answering phone calls, scheduling appointments, and managing the check-in process.
• Utilize the Point of Sale (POS) system accurately for transactions and cash management.
• Maintain dispensary protocols, including safety, security, and cleanliness standards.
• Support audit activities and assist with inventory and other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• High school diploma or higher.
• 2+ years of work experience.
• Proven experience in retail, customer service, or a healthcare-related field.
• Proficiency with basic computer skills and Point of Sale (POS) software.
• Ability to lift at least 50 pounds and stand for long periods.
• Availability to work flexible shifts, including weekends, evenings, and holidays.
• Ability to successfully pass a pre-employment background check.

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous experience in dispensing, retail, or patient service roles.
• Knowledge of the NYS Medical Marijuana Program and federal laws regarding medical cannabis.
• Strong attention to detail and a team-player mentality.
