Campus Technician I

Responsibilities

• Maintain cleanliness of campus buildings, restrooms, classrooms, and athletic facilities
• Empty trash, recycling, and compost throughout campus
• Set up and break down spaces for over 200 annual school and community events
• Perform basic maintenance including painting, drywall patching, and minor repairs
• Complete work orders efficiently and move furniture or equipment as needed
• Operate custodial equipment and campus vehicles such as golf carts, cargo vans, and Bobcat/skid-steer
• Secure campus buildings by locking/unlocking doors and conducting evening patrols
• Provide customer service to staff, students, families, and visitors

Requirements

• Previous janitorial or general maintenance experience preferred
• Valid driver's license and ability to be insurable under company insurance
• Reliable form of transportation
• Ability to pass a physical exam due to job demands
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds regularly and push/pull up to 100 pounds
• Ability to work indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions
