Campus Events Specialist

Responsibilities

• Lead the operational delivery of diverse campus events, translating stakeholder requirements into actionable plans, timelines, and workflows
• Oversee logistical elements including space setup, equipment, vendor services, and F&B operations
• Manage purchase orders, monitor supplier performance, and track budgets using Excel to ensure efficient, high-quality, and cost-effective execution
• Develop and refine event management processes, templates, and SOPs to improve efficiency, consistency, and scalability
• Collaborate with all relevant departments to integrate events seamlessly into the broader campus experience

Requirements

• Experience in event operations, hospitality, or project coordination
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
• Advanced Excel skills for budget tracking, planning, and reporting
• Experience in creating, structuring, and improving operational processes
• Proven experience managing vendors, suppliers, and budgets
• Fluency in both English and French is mandatory

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience coordinating food & beverage operations using Banquet Event Orders (BEOs)
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic, and multicultural environment
